Vitaminity Omega 3 Complex

Vitaminity Omega 3 Complex is a food supplement based on fish oil with unsaturated fatty acids and Omega 3 (min. 90%) and EPA/DHA (min. 75%). Each softgel contains 900 mg of Omega 3, including 510 mg of EPA and 240 mg of DHA.

Omega-3 fatty acids are known for their numerous beneficial properties for human health; nevertheless, they are hardly found in our diet, unlike omega-6 fatty acids; these are contained in vegetable oils, which are consumed in large quantities by the Mediterranean population through their normal daily diet. The Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA (eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid respectively) are endogeneously synthesised in human tissues through an enzymatic process from alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) introduced through the diet. However, such biosynthesis is inefficient, since EPA and DHA inhibit two key enzymes of the process. Therefore, it is extremely important to introduce these fatty acids through proper supplementation of fish oil high in Omega-3.

Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet helps maintain normal cholesterol levels in the blood (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids are unsaturated fats). EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function; DHA helps maintain a normal brain function and vision.

INGREDIENTS

Composition: Fish Oil 5525EE high in Omega-3 fatty acids (min. 90%, EPA and DHA min. 75% in the form of ethyl ester), Food Gelatin; firming agent: glycerol (E422), antioxidants: natural d-alpha tocopherol.

HOW TO USE

Recommended intake: 1-2 softgels daily, with plenty of water.

The softgels can be taken at any time of the day, with or between meals.

EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function: this beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA (equivalent to 1 softgel). DHA helps maintain a normal brain function and vision: this beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA (equivalent to 2 softgels).
